3-Year Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage

This 3-Year Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is provided by DT Ecom Ltd. ("We," "Us," or "Our") for fountains purchased directly from Our eCommerce website (www.kittyspout.com). The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1.1. Standalone Warranty

  • Scope: Each standalone 3-Year Limited Warranty applies to one (1) fountain only, identified by proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt).

  • Multiple Fountains: If a customer purchases multiple fountains as separate standalone items, a separate Warranty must be purchased for each fountain to be covered.

  • Covered Components: The Warranty covers repairs or replacements for defective water pumps, fountain parts damaged during transit, control modules for wireless fountains, and other components specified at the time of purchase, subject to the exclusions in Section 3.

1.2. Bundle Warranty

  • Scope: For bundle purchases that include multiple fountains, a single 3-Year Limited Warranty covers all fountains included in the bundle, as identified by the proof of purchase for the bundle.

  • Covered Components: The Warranty covers repairs or replacements for defective water pumps, fountain parts damaged during transit, control modules for wireless fountains, and other components included in the bundle, subject to the exclusions in Section 3.

2. Warranty Period

  • The Warranty begins on the date of purchase, as indicated by the proof of purchase, and extends for three (3) years from that date.

  • For replacements or repairs made under this Warranty, the warranty period for the repaired or replaced component extends only to the end of the original 3-year period.

3. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to follow the fountain’s care and maintenance instructions provided by DT Ecom Ltd.

  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to seals, gaskets, or cosmetic damage (e.g., fading, scratches, or discoloration).

  • Damage caused by improper installation, unauthorized repairs, or modifications.

  • Damage due to environmental factors, including but not limited to low water levels, freezing, lightning, or other acts of nature.

  • Damage caused by using the fountain with non-approved accessories or components.

  • Incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use, property damage, or personal injury, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Fountains used for commercial purposes, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

4. Claims Process

To make a claim under this Warranty:

  1. Contact Us: Submit a claim within the 3-year warranty period by contacting Our customer service team at [email protected]

  2. Proof of Purchase: Provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt) to verify the fountain(s) and Warranty coverage. For standalone warranties, specify the fountain associated with the Warranty. For bundle warranties, provide the bundle order details.

  3. Description of Issue: Provide a detailed description of the defect, including photos or videos if requested, to assist in evaluating the claim.

  4. Inspection and Approval: We may require the return of the defective fountain or component for inspection. If required, We will provide a prepaid shipping label for returns within the United States.

  5. Resolution: If the claim is approved, We will, at Our discretion:

    • Repair the defective component(s).

    • Replace the defective component(s) or fountain with a comparable model if the original is no longer available.

    • Issue a refund for the Warranty purchase price if repair or replacement is not feasible, prorated based on the remaining warranty period.

5. Shipping Costs

  • For approved claims involving parts damaged during transit, We will cover the cost of shipping replacement parts to the customer.

  • For other claims, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the defective fountain or component to Us, unless otherwise specified. We will cover the cost of shipping repaired or replacement items back to the customer within the United States.

  • For international customers, additional shipping fees may apply, and customers should contact Us for details.

6. Limitations

  • Limited Warranty: This is a limited warranty, and except as expressly stated herein, We make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Transferability: This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  • Geographic Scope: This Warranty is valid only for fountains purchased and used within the United States, unless otherwise specified.

7. Compliance with Law

This Warranty complies with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.). It does not affect any additional rights You may have under state or federal law, including implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed in certain jurisdictions.
